Built entirely by a group of community members, and with innovative and unique features, sep7 is one of the sleekest forums on the web.
You forgot the part where Isara goes to college for it and Cheat's been at this since high school and has a full time job with it.
He didn't when the site launched, he was still freelance.
Anyway, Nuka contributed by finding several of the site's features for them, and a lot of people use my script to customize the theme, and then there's Focnr who I know nothing about the background of, or his contributions to the site, but in all I'd say the team is pretty amateur.
Freelance != amateur. Also, a lot of changes were made to thread view. I don't know if you guys remember, but things used to look a lot different inside a thread.

I don't understand how pendulum cards work st all
There are 2 Pendulum zones on the field. You can place Pendulum monsters in them as if they were Continuous Spell cards, and when you have both zones occupied you can once per turn special summon as many monsters from your hand and ones face up in your extra deck who's levels are between but not equal to the pendulum scale numbers on the card.
(For example if the scale of one card is 2 and the other card is 7 you can summon monsters levels 3, 4, 5 and 6)
When pendulum monsters on the field would go to the graveyard they are sent from the field to the extra deck face up instead.
It's a massively broken mechanic and a large part of why I dont play much anymore.
My brother and I play infrequently and just ignore that mechanic completely; it's a confusing, odd, and unneeded way of playing.

In Thor 1 he had to act selflessly in order to obtain Mjolnir again, so it seems like the prerequisite for lifting it is being moral.
Rogers couldn't lift it though (even though yeah, eventually he will be able to as the comics show).
If you pay close attention it budged when cap tried to pick it up, and Thor suddenly got worried.
I'm fully aware. They were foreshadowing him being capable of picking it up in the future.

I guess I shouldn't call it a shit show. It was a good movie, but it has absolutely nothing to do with Cloverfield. It's very Misery like up until the last 30 minutes then it kind of drops the ball. But it was still enjoyable to watch.

Sure there would have. I have no doubt there are some folks here who still don't realize the "banner" changes when you click those 4 tiles beneath it, and this argument is nothing new.
I'll admit that the fader design is subpar. It's an old javascript swapper I built several years ago that needs to be updated, but the fader/slider itself is not a poor idea. We just need more "stuff" to happen.
Then make more stuff happen, or remove the function. As of now it's pointless and your justification for it is null as stuff does in fact not happen.
Anarchy weekend and mod/monitor applications don't count? I would be more than willing to add one to rotation if there's a tournament or event going on in #gaming; all anyone has to do is send me the banner and the link.
I can sort of respect you sticking to your guns even when you're wrong, but removing that slider would unbalance the front page. A logo would be redundant. Adding a smaller banner makes it feel unlike a homepage and more like a sub page.
Most sites use a slider or featured spot on their home page. Basically everyone knows this. Removing it is not a good idea and it will never happen.

As of now it's kind of a meaningless function - and there's two ways to solve that problem. Either remove the function which really has no purpose - or make it relevant, by creating events.

...creating events? What? If there is a tournament or contest or whatever, PM me and let me know and I'll add it. I won't make up bogus events just to keep the rotation fresh.
