I know that's what they feel in battle, but think about their boss fights. The Pain was constantly yelling in anger, The Fear used various agonizing poisons against you, The Fury was a terrifying pyromaniac cosmonaut fought in close quarters, The Sorrow was constantly smiling while he guided you down the river, and The Joy didn't like having to battle her student at the end of the game, but did anyway to preserve her country.

I guess The End was the only one who lived up to his title, but 'The End' isn't an emotion, so...

No, he's supposedly still psychic.

Which makes no fucking sense at all because they specifically retconned Liquid taking over Ocelot because it was too supernatural.

But when it comes to destroying another fan-favourite character's legacy, MGS4 doesn't hold back.

Did Vamp have natural regeneration abilities alongside his nanomachines, or was it always just nanomachines? MGS4 made it seem like the latter, but Naomi's wording implied the nanomachines were responsible for all of it and he was just a really tough human guy.

Mantis has his abilities in the trailers for TPP, and that was long before nanomachines were a thing, so I assume he's an actual psychic. Also, his ghost showed up in GotP, so unless nanomachines can summon spirits, it's a fair bet he was an actual psychic.

I reckon it was all the nanomachines. The less that Vamp's powers are real, the happier we are. In Kojima's eyes, at least.

Very good. I'm a sucker for movie scenes with no cuts.

Oh right. Yeah I remember being wow'd by it in MGS4 as well. How it went from cutscene to in game. At the time it was pretty dope.

Also, I have to say I think Ocelot looks the best in the new MGSV. As in, he's actually not that bad looking. It's a step up from his twink looking self in MGS 3
