Is there a word to describe what I just felt trying to play Borderlands TPS

So back in the days when I lived in New York I had some freinds who would come over and play video games on a regular basis. My closest friend absolutely loved Borderlands especially, however around the time the Handsome Jack Collection came out I was going through some depression that caused my to just crash and fall asleep, so I couldn't get myself to pull through the Pre Sequel with him. In fact he managed to beat the entire game without me.

So fast forward to today and after beating Borderlands 2 I decided to try the pre-sequel again but when I tried the same feelings of lethargy and tiredness took me over and I just couldn't bring myself to continue playing. Is there a word for this kind of feeling resurfacing in this way?

Maybe the game is just truly that shitty with its meme writing

I don't know if there's a specific word for that. I'm not even sure if I've felt it before.

I mean, the pre-sequel was pretty shitty. Could be that, or that you've just associated the game with depressive feelings, which causes it to act as a sort of placebo for you.

If that was the problem I wouldn't have made it through Borderlands 2 and farmed the crappy final boss for 3 hours.
