Should I start with FFXV or FFVII Remake Intergrade?

FFXV seems like a more complete experience, given that it is a standalone game (with a companion movie by the looks of it). But FFVII Remake seems like it has more iconic characters and potentionally a better story?

im not sure, as ive never played a ff game either, but i am kinda in the same boat as you... sorta

i bought ff7 (original) on xbox a while ago, havent gotten around to playing it though. it's easily the most iconic ff out there, but you'd have to ask someone who's actually played ff if 7 is a good place to start.

plus i dont own a playstation so i wouldntve been able to play the remake even if i wanted to

I did some searching on reddit and many, many people have asked the same question. Every time the answer seems to be overwhelmingly FFVII Remake, so I'll go with that one.
