-Bolt-actions OHK'ing. You'd have more variety in pistols and revolvers than primary weapons.
-No vehicles of any sort (unless you count horses, and "Tanks" that were near useless.
-Static maps to reflect the trenches
-No macro/micro destruction because everything is alreasy destroyed or mud.

Already dissapointed and HIGHLY doubtful before it's out.

Bolt actions were the primary rifle, but there were semi auto rifles and SMGs being used.

There's not much of a variety as what we have now, but there would still be a decent amount to get by. Armored cars, troop carriers, SPG's planes and tanks.

Great, so transport and reconnaissance vehicles then. Not exactly combat worthy, eh?

And don't get me started in SPG's. The unbalance among those things is retarded for a supposedly "dynamic" game, it just reinforces the static movements of battle.

If you guys wanna see a good example of how mechanics can make a WW1 game work, go look up Verdun gameplay. It did the whole push pull of trench warfare really good.
