I remember being much more liable to give up when things were really starting to get challenging.
Things are still challenging, but the way I deal with them is much different. I'm a much more resilient person overall.

It wasn't a movie I expected to be sad, honestly. It was even more jarring because of that.

Someone completely and totally different

I remember thinking how much worse it was going to get a few years ago
And it did get worse

Makes me wonder how much more change is yet to come

I'd just quit my job, started self harming, and struggled with the knowledge that killing myself was the best thing I could probably do. Now I'm working again, not self harming, and struggling with the knowledge that I'm still not living for anything.

But here's to hoping that will change.

I can relate to changing rapidly. I'm changing into someone unexpected in my original plans. My ideal sort of self was supposed to be compassionate, yet in the last three years I've decided that would be an unnecessary and frankly useless objective to pursue. I'm much less empathetic and much more reclusive.

Uhhh, pretty similar. Dropped History a year ago, I was at home for spring break as opposed to now. Pretty much the same level being bored and annoyed with the same person. I was prolly more hopeful, but still worrying about summer.

I was still a part of the family last year, that changed when my bigoted parents cut my sister and her girlfriend off and left them 40 grand in debt and I gave them a place to stay.

Interacted with people but now I don't really feel any need to and go most days without any in person conversation. I just feel more fulfilled by other things now.

I didn't really gave any drive back then and I just felt emotionally weak.
