Her parents marriage was destroyed by infedility, and my best friend (my love's sister) was virtually disowned by her father because she dated a boy he didn't approve of. If there's even a remote chance that her dad suspects I'm the cause of his daughter's failed relationship, that's like starting a race 500m behind everyone else (if I ever get to "race" at all). And on top of my somewhat controversial opinions on a great deal many things, I really can't afford any more bullets in my feet.

This is all ignoring the obvious ethical issues that coming between them would entail. No, I believe God rewards the patient, and for her, I would suffer a great deal of isolation.

you're in highschool right? i've been  where you are.  for about 4 years, i chased a girl from my church. she was the most beautiful girl and the sweetest thing i ever knew. I was obsessed with her. everynight and everyday i would think about her, and when i got a phone i would text her non-stop. i was in a circumstance to where her parents wouldnt let her date me, so i tried waiting it out with her, while talkin to her back and forth....for years. needles to say she drove me crazy. I honestly thought She was the one God had for me, just because it all made sense in my head.

long long long complicated story short... we never ended up getting together. she went to prom with me and rejected me afterwards. since then i barely had spoken  a word to her in 2 years. not because i was salty at her. just because i naturally fell out of love. also, she began to become someone i didnt like. she became self centered and egotistic. As time goes on you'll realize that these honest,pure genuine feelings become irrelevant. other girls can come in your life and change everything. you gotta be willing to open up. while i hope you get this girl, you gotta be willing to open up all the possibilities.   this girl i mentioned  is a beauty pageant model now. I'm just a lonely IT major, but in the end it all worked out. i dated other girls and had a  great time with them.
