never buy your products based off marketing; always buy from a design/engineering standpoint where applicable

a good example of how fucked marketing can make a product is in consumer audio business

it takes 1-2 years of work for a product to be designed and marketed but acoustic engineers only have around 2 weeks to make it sound good
