Once you've seen one post 90s harem, you've seen them all. All that changes is the skin (demon harem, robot harem, Fate stay/night harem).

Very much so. Sure, there's the occasional show that tries something new. But that comes as often as a cop show breaking the procedural crime formula. AKA not nearly enough to be anything beyond the exception that proves the rule.
