It's not hard to look up the light novel ending since it ends kinda like how it starts. It's not really a cliffhanger.

There are huge differences between each and every US cartoon that make it unique from one another.
Animes have extremely similar styles compared to US cartoons. From facial features, to special effects and yes, the big eyes.

To correct myself, yes these certain animes Fear posted are different. However that is dwarfed by the mass amount of similar looking anime.
They may not be exactly the same, but it's stretching it to say most are unique in their style.

I see the similarities, that doesn't mean they're all the same though. A lot of cartoons in the west use a lot of similar things as well. It may not be as diverse, but to say they all "use the same art style" was incredibly wrong.

A lot do yes, but compared to anime, Western cartoons are completely unique.
Plus most cartoons I see here in the US have similarities, but has one huge difference that sets it apart. ((Adventure Time is similar to Regular Show, but are different for obvious reasons.))
