Icy, LC, and Yutaka added.

Icy Wind
User ID: IcyWind

Another old staff member, Icy has taken a number of roles, from Monitor, Ninja, to "Content Monitor". Once resigned from his Ninja position due to a growing fatigue with managing the community, he has recently been reinstated, because of a thinning staff population as of late.

LC
User ID: Lord Commissar

Highest ranking member of the site, except for Cheat himself. Though the administrative Architect rank is normally reserved for users well-versed in programming, LC has no programming chops whatsoever(?), and was chosen by Cheat for reasons unknown.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Though it has sort of died down, LC is often referred to as "Grandma" by the community, despite being ostensibly male.
  • Artifact Alias: "LC" stands for "Lord Commissar", but everyone just calls him LC, to the point where you might just forget it stands for anything.
  • Deadpan Snarker: When finding the snarkiest staff member, LC could rival Icy in this regard. Is rather unpopular with some users for this, with some of the community considering his attitude unbecoming of his high rank.
  • Earned Stripes: His adminstrative position is denoted by a bright yellow title bar and text color.
  • Highly Visible Ninja: Used to be. He's a little bit more higher-ranked than a Ninja now.
  • Never My Fault: Due to his opinionated nature, he tends to get into a lot of arguments with fellow users, often derailing the thread in the process. He'll never own up to this, of course, let alone ever admit he's wrong about anything.
  • Otaku: Not to the same great extents as some other users, but could still be considered one under lenient definitions.
  • The Dragon: To Cheat. Second-highest ranking user on the website.
Yutaka
User ID: Yutaka

One of the longest standing, yet lowest ranking, moderators of the site. Known for being one of the many anime fans of the website.

  • By-the-Book Cop: Is often referred to as "Yulocka" by the community for a reason.
  • Highly Visible Ninja
  • Otaku
  • South of the Border: His Mexican heritage is often the brunt of some playful banter.
  • The Stoic: One of the least active Ninjas, whenever he does post, it can be difficult to discern any kind of emotion in his words. The only thing he seems to become too enthused over is anime.

Staff sheets:

☐ Kupo
☑ Kitsunekun
☑ Mr Psychologist
☑ Flee
☑ Yutaka
☐ Comet
☑ IcyWind
☑ Cheatlancer
☑ Lord Commissar

You can try to find tropes for yourself, but you might be a little bit biased.

As I mentioned, I'd rather it not become a method of shit-flinging, so yeah. Don't be inflammatory.

I don't see the problem.

Any negative assertions were qualified with "some users believe," which is true. Nothing is inflammatory here.

Instead of whining impotently, you could maybe perhaps point me to the descriptors you find offensive, and I'll consider rewording it or removing it entirely. That would be very helpful.

None of my selections were explicitly inflammatory.
I'll concede that a couple aren't flattering, but mind you, this thread is NOT meant to be a circlejerk, either.

Yeah, yours'll come soon. Kupo and Comet are next; they're the last of the staff.
Once they're done, I can start making some for the most active members, and you're somewhere in there.

i know i already have meta/nuka listed, but that was before i had a plan

I think I should try adding avatars to the sheets to represent you all, but I dunno. People change them too often for me to care to update it every single time someone does, so I probably won't bother with that.

>lists zero redeeming qualities

>contains untrue information and personal opinions of the writer

If you can't see your own biases, misinformation, and flat out untrue assertions in that then I'm not sure what to tell you mate.

I wanted to see if you were capable of making an unbiased one for me, but it seems you weren't. I'd prefer it to be made by someone who doesn't openly hate me.

I mean, just off the top of my head the reasons for my promotion were publicly stated in the announcement thread. You know, the thread you posted in and clearly saw/read. Just a small thing to note as well, you tagged the people you didn't like with Otaku (a term you consider negative) on the mods you don't like that watch anime, while forgoing it on the mods you do like that watch anime.

Also no verb, me not telling you you're right when you're flat out wrong doesn't mean "I'll never admit when I'm wrong".

You didn't even get my negatives right man.

Protip: When a conflict of interest arises people typically abstain from writing on a subject and instead hand it to a neutral third party. If you're going to do any sort of journalism with your English career you'd do well to take note of this. It helps avoiding situations like this one where clear cases of bias are present and the validity of your work comes into question.

I'll have to reread that thread, then, because I honestly do not remember there being a particularly great reason.

If you want me to add "Otaku" to Psy's sheet, then I will, but the Otaku addition was absolutely not meant to be insulting or inflammatory in any way. Your being a fan of anime represents a big chunk of your personality here, so it only makes sense that I'd bring it up with something.

If you don't feel your anime fandom represents you in any light, you're wrong.
But I suppose I could consider finding a less loaded alternative.

Quote

That's fine--that's what this thread is all about, LC. It's an open project.

So yeah.
If there's someone here who could list for me some of LC's redeeming qualities, I could really use your help.

Quote
Also no verb, me not telling you you're right when you're flat out wrong doesn't mean "I'll never admit when I'm wrong".
I am not just referring to the spats we've had, LC. You're really not that important to me.

A number of users, namely Lemon, could attest to your generally obstinate personality.

And coming at me with this aggressive attitude, telling me I'm wrong for this this this and this, with absolutely no humility whatsoever, is not exactly the best way of convincing me that you're not an obstinate individual, LC. You're shooting yourself in the foot, and kinda proving my point even further. So that one's definitely staying.
Quote

Again--that's what this thread is about. You're not a neutral third party, either, keep in mind, so I'm not going to rewrite your entire sheet simply on the basis that it doesn't completely ingratiate you.

I'll look into revising yours, but don't expect a lot to change, unless I actually hear from other users.

Bro I'm not even being aggressive. You asked me what I thought was wrong with it and I answered.

So why should I be humble when pointing out lies and mistrusths and wrong information? There's nothing to be humble about when saying " hey this this and this aren't true". That's just pointing out things that are wrong.

If you expect someone to be humble when pointing out that the lies being said about them aren't true I'm not sure what to tell you. Humbleness is usually reserved for downplaying ones own successes and accepting valid criticism.

You mean the very same lemon I admitted I was wrong to a couple days ago? You know the post I edited out to say disgregard me in the conversation?

I'm not objecting to the use of obstinance as a descriptor, in fact that's something I'd agree with. However what you chose and what you used in the description isn't obstinance. It's a refusal to accept responsibility for ones actions and shifting the blame onto others.

I'm not offering to write one on myself because I know I'm not a nuetral third party.

Your tone. You're obviously a little bit flustered over it. Your tone is heated, your word choice is demanding and aggressive, you're misspelling shit (which suggests that you're typing this all up in a flurry without proofreading), you're making a lot of repetitive points, and you're just... clearly upset over this. And that's okay.

*obstinacy

It was the best trope I could find to describe that particular personality trait of yours. I could've went with Stubborn Mule, except this trope refers to actual mules. And I don't think you'd appreciate that.

Okay, so you were promoted because Cheat couldn't do administrative work on his own. Fair enough--perhaps I let my own dissatisfaction with his choice clog my vision on that one. I still strongly disagree with his choice over six months later. But to say that there was no reason at all was unfair and inaccurate, so I'll change that.

I'll add Otaku to Psy's sheet until I can find a decent alternative, because apparently the term "Otaku" is inflammatory if it's used by me.

I'll remove this line: "...let alone ever admit he's wrong about anything" from the "Never My Fault" trope until I can find something that describes stubborn behavior a little bit better.

...Everything else is fine for now, I think.

Some to add for Gramma Elsie.

His quaint traditionalist way of life in the deep south of California bears many of the hallmarks found in highly inbred mountain folk and cannibalistic psychopaths. He loves his southern roots and how he used to own slaves, spends his time on XBL pining for days past and of the future when the south will rise again.

Verb I'm currently on mobile which is why I've got spelling mistakes and I'm not quoting you after a long exchange. A combination of my fingers being to big for the screen and apples definition of "helping" means I'm likely to have misspelled word and wrong forms almost every other sentence.

If you hadn't accused me of being unwilling to take responsibility for my actions it's likely that I wouldn't have even responded. Cause you know, that's like saying im the same as a certain user that certainly does not hold grudges ever. And that's kind of the opposite of what I'm about fam. So yeah, maybe I did care a bit, but It wasn't anything like how you described.

It's also not bitching to refute slander and explain why it's wrong. However since were on the subject of slander and taking responsibility for your actions, it would behoove you to redact a false and inflammatory accusation, even if you aren't able to find something that actually fits. This isn't supposed to be a thread for shitflinging and being inflammatory after all.

On the Otaku note, I'm sure it was just a coincidence that your distaste for anime and those who like it in general had nothing to do with who you decided to award the prestigious title of otaku to. Despite the fact that the one you neglected to list as one watches more anime, discusses anime more, and uses commonly said Japanese words in anime as part of his vocabulary.

Putting the negative connotations of the word Otaku aside, you do have to admit that even if that wasn't intentional it is a pretty damning set of coincidences.

But to reiterate, the only thing I really had an issue with was the promotion bit and the flat out untrue assertion that I refuse to take respondibility for my actions. Other than that I really had no issues with it.

Well other than that odd and seemingly arbitrary awarding of the otaku title.

Spoiler
in case you couldn't tell Psy is taking the piss
