For those that aren't bongs there's this show called Torchwood which is basically an adult spin off of Doctor Who. Most of the episodes are really fucking lame and cheesy but some of the subject matter really fucked with me when I was young, particularly this episode, involving an alien drug addict that uses children as an opiate and prolongs their lives indefinitely in a weird vegetative state. Needless to say, the whole concept of being used as a drug hit for eternity by a slime monster was nightmare fuel to me for several years.

I remember stumbling onto the shower scene from It as a kid. That was fun.

And then there was a weird one. I found the second Alien movie on the tv as a kid, and while I was scared shitless I just kept watching because I landed at the part where ripley got into the exo suit to fight the queen and in some weird way seeing her scared shitless but still fighting enabled me to watch the movie until the end.

I didn't watch The Hills Have Eyes as a kid but only recently. Usually movies/games don't disturb me now as an adult, but holy shit man, there's a scene in that movie that was just too much and now its been stuck in my head ever since.

Yup.  I didn't know it was a remake when I was four.  Monster animatronics scared the shit out of me regardless.  I saw the original trying to find the clip again since I haven't seen it since.  The newer one seemed really overacted.
