As far as I understand, alts are allowed unless they're used for ban evasion or spam. Whenever a new account is made, it first needs to be approved before it can begin posting. This is where the staff comes in to see whether or not the alt belongs to a known offender. If it does, the account is denied. If it doesn't, it's fair game.However, the rules are not set in stone. You're free to make a (more serious) poll or petition on the Sep7agon board. If enough members support limits on alts, it'll be taken into consideration.
