I've been waiting to see the Dodgers in the World Series since I was 8 years old.

I've seen all those seasons full of promises that ended up in failure. I've seen our miracle seasons get ruined by the Phillies. I've had my heart broken losing to the Cardinals, and I've seen my team get embarrassed by a cursed team known as the Cubs.

But now... now this is different. This team is special and I'm glad I am able to witness it in my lifetime. Kershaw was talking about pitching in the World Series and he got super emotional and held back tears and so did I. I've been watching him pitch ever since he got called up to the bigs right after high school and I feel like I've grown up with him. He deserves this more than anyone.

4 more wins is all that remains.
