Just wondering, where are non-Floodians coming from? Where's this site being advertised?

I don't mind them, I'm just wondering who's who.

Not from me though. I thought about advertising this place, but I was all like "Meh. Let this place be for exclusive people instead."

Exclusivity will kill this forum.

It also puts off a "stuck up" feel if we turn away members or try to keep this place a secret. Offtopic already thinks we're assholes for abandoning B.lind.

I think this is a worthy discussion to have elsewhere if you're willing to have it. Whether or not exclusivity would "kill" this forum. Which, I don't think it would. I think letting people like Zesty run rampant is a bigger threat to the forum.

We've gained quite a bit of activity, but it's not something to get cocky about. If this is a forum that our userbase wants to thrive and live on as the new Flood, a steady supply of new blood is essential. People come and go, and with the majority b.lind thinking all these dumb things about us, we probably can't rely on them as a sole source for members. Don't get me wrong though, it's where the vast majority of our members come from and that's how it should be. There's just nothing wrong with bringing in people from other sources. Diversity and all that.
