Need a new anime to watch

Gundam Seed
Gundam Seed Destiny
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood

So good story and a conflict of some sorts.

I disliked:
Neon Genesis evangelion
Anything pervy or that fall to fan fiction

I hated Evangelion. After about 10 episode it looked like they ran out of money an ideal and resorted to pervy fan service.

The one where a young hero is in a village that gets destroyed by a bug bad guy. He goes out into the world to train to become strong enough to defeat the big baddy, meeting a few new friends along the way. Eventually he hets strong enough to do it and attacks the big baddie. His friends die one by one in the battle, each giving him insight on a faral flaw within himself. These insights help him win the battle. Once done, he realizes that he's in a bigger world and strikes off to be even stronger.

You know, that one.

There's a reason why it's coming off as generic and fan servicey, however you wont know that reason until about episode 16 on wards and it becomes very apparent starting from 20 on wards. I seriously want you to reconsider finishing Eva since if you really hate what it's doing now you will love what it does later.

The problem with Q is that it fucks up everything about the universe and literally every character except for Shinji in order to force Shinji into a situation that he shouldn't be in. I get the whole message they were trying to convey with Q and Q marks the "turning point" in NGE but can you really call the movie a success when it destroyed everything in its path to get us to that point?

History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi is p good tbh, the manga is amazing too.

On a slightly offtopic note, what was the name of the Digimon series that aired some time around 2005-'07 (if not before) where the humans themselves went to some train station that took them to an alternate dimension and could become a Digimon themselves? I've been looking for it since I was 12 and have had no luck
