Also, I have a G750JZ and I still just use the default keyboard. It works well enough for me and I don't miss mechanical keys too badly. I have my Deathadder set up as well. It's honestly not that bad.

What make is that? I have an ASUS like that, but a lot bigger. The G750JM. Cost me about £800.

fuck. I just asked my dad if I could return the one I have right now to get that one and he said now. Fuck. now I'm stuck with a shitty computer.

This is a decent laptop but it has its problems. Namely a BSOD to do with the GPU, you have to be on an earlier driver to avoid it and so you lose a great chunk of performance. ASUS/NVIDIA are taking their sweet time fixing it.

I get why you guys are upset... I would be upset too if I saw someone get a nice laptop and someone was ungrateful or something. I mean I see people get nice stuff and if they didn't appreciate it I would rather that I had it. The problem though isn't that this isn't a nice laptop. I would be more than happy to have this laptop if it wasn't the only thing that I have to work on. The point is that I am going to be moving to colorado and I will not have a desktop computer to do anything on. Now that I think about it it probably won't be a huge deal.

I just wanted to say that I understand why you guys are upset at me. I apologize for being... uh... selfish or something. I just hope that people won't start hating me for something as trivial as not really wanting to have a laptop to move to an entirely new state where I will be living on my own. I understand where you guys are coming from. I just wish that people would have some understanding of why I may be kind of upset about this. I am going to be moving to a new state and my screen I will be working on is much smaller, like 5 inches. My amount of space on my hard drive is going to be split into a 300 and 500 gig hard drive inside of my laptop. I won't be able to play games on as powerful of a system.

So it's not like I just begged my parents for this laptop and then decided I hated it. It wasn't really what I wanted in the first place. This laptop is a compromise between having a desktop computer and a laptop. The reason I need a laptop in the first place is because apparently I am going to be moving around a lot before i settle down over there. So seriously, I don't want to see people getting upset at me for being some spoiled MTV brat just because I have real legitimate concerns about my life.

I don't really have an anecdote to compare it to. what this really is is just unfair persecution of me. I really didn't do shit to anyone to deserve such hatred. I honestly am starting to resent the total stupidity of all the people who call me out for something like this.
