It's the same cycle over and over again with no real loss on the part of the main characters. A villain arises, there is a big ending fight that changes something significant, but the villain ultimately loses or dies.

We got this", and then no real problems happening at all is indeed really annoying. No real suspense, you know they're going to win without a hitch. Only real suspense was when Tenzin got BTFO, but again Team Avatar came in and went "We got this" like usual.I get where you're coming from.

Not enough precedence for Kuvira to suddenly flip like that and have "reeducation camps", slavery, megalomania, et cetera.There needed to be more build up if they were going to do this. They needed to show her slipping into it gradually, not the instant on like a light switch transition she had. I guess they realized they had written character that would be hard for people to actually hate so they had to go full Hitler with her instantly so she'd be the easily recognizable bad guy.It would have been much better if Korra had to go up against Kuvira in some morally ambiguous dilemma with no right or wrong answer.
