I don't agree with none of the above

Well so far it's not been locked.

Here we go.

#1. The suspected root cause.
Suspected = blatantly obvious but anyway. You bitch about the animu spam of lolis and the like as if it condones the rape of children. So I'll pick this one apart a little.

First off, I don't like it. I like Anime, but I dislike lolicon related materials and the whole bunch of material that falls under ecchi/etc. That's just me, but I don't care if other people like it. Not everyone likes bloody gorey dismemberment but I do, I don't have people bitch at me for liking that so the courtesy is returned.

Then there is another point to consider, about the wider implications of loli art/materials. Japan is a very different place to the west (Stating the fecking obvious here) with lower AoC laws because that's how their society rolls. The loli shit is creepy, sure, but it doesn't make them all paedophiles anymore than westerners ... I hate to say this... 'enjoying' that stuff. I'm not going to go any further on that part because frankly I find the whole area distasteful but I'm sure someone else has already pointed out why lolicons aren't full on kiddy fiddlers.

Then there is the point to raise about the harmfulness of such material.
Who does it harm? Kids? As far as I know it doesn't. It might offend the sensibilities of some people but that's not going to cause any lasting damage. Computers for displaying them? (I'm not going to go all technotheocratic but you get the point) It's one of those rare, genuine, victimless non-crimes. It doesn't harm anyone full stop.

#2 AoC discussion =/= Hurr lez raep kidzzzzz
This one should be self evident. Discussing the altering of a law does not mean that it's going to lead to horrific consequences. This is called a slippery slope and I'm fairly certain you yourself get pissed off with slippery slopes when it comes to things like marriage equality or genuine social justice (Not SJWs).

#3 Mental Illness.
I try not to get pissy over this but it irks me when it's waved around as a smear. People holding different and controversial opinions doesn't make them mentally ill. Nor does discussing the AoC make them a paedophile (Bear in mind that most of the people on here are only barely over it themselves - Region dependant), so pulling out the DSM definitions (If this wasn't you, then apologies) to try to claim that the people on this site either support paedophilia or actively bugger toddlers - This is also something I try to avoid saying. Fuck off and die. Use your words, don't make false claims about diseases to try to undermine the opponent.

#4 Following on from 3.
Paedophile =/= Child Molester
Not all paedos are kiddy fiddlers, they are all mentally ill and should be treated as such.
Where I say that it's fine to shoot the ones who fuck toddlers doesn't come from 'hurr muh intolerance of illnuss' but from a utilitarian standpoint. They've done it once, they will probably do it again. They will actively partake in real material consumption and will continue to be a dangerous corruptive influence. Locking them up in jail to be Bubba'd until they die is as inhumane as allowing them to hurt another child. Shooting them and burning the body speeds everything up with the least harm done. Those who haven't hurt children shouldn't be demonized, but should be given help without prejudice. PM me if you want to hear more on that one specifically, but I won't put it on the mains.

So, with that all said.

Kindly stop your one man witchhunt against the forum, it's as pathetic and unfounded as the witch burnings.
