My dad collects knives, and I wanted to get him one for Christmas.  Need to find something online, but have no clue what's considered a good "gift knife".
Looking to spend around $100.

Yeah, a lot of stuff got in the way.  It's not ideal, but fine if it doesn't get to him by Christmas (his gifts are always "it's not here yet, buuuut").

I'm not really sure on his style.  He has a few flip-knives with carbon-fiber handles, and that's about the extent of what I can tell you.  Spyderco is the only company I can name.

k, for that price I can't think of any current spydercos that are like "yeah, this is a collectors/show piece"

Blade Hq has a carbon fiber Kershaw Skyline that's at the hundred mark.  I think they still had some brass handled ones from the last Flytanium drop too last I checked.
Mcusta makes some neat stuff right about the hundred dollar point
I think boker's tuxedo kwaikens are about that price too.
