When I came into the Meat Department to begin work yesterday, I noticed we had 4 overflowing trash cans with about three more carts full of meat.  Delicious, succulent meat that animals were mercilessly slaughtered for to feed all those poor hungry people.

$671.55 of meat to be exact.

And it is all being thrown out.


It's all going to a landfill.  All that meat wasted because people didn't want to buy any.  Cows, chickens and pigs all died for this.

don't get me wrong pissing people off is my favourite but there are people out there dying cuz they ain't got food yet tonnes of perfectly good food gets thrown away

What would be better? We give meat a proper burial? Do we keep livestock in stores and slice meat off the live animal as per customers request? Think how many vegetables die for nothing.
