Vader #5 was... Odd. I'm not sure I like where this is going. What was introduced didn't feel very much like Star Wars to me. I'll post an in depth review in this thread later.

No problem. I haven't read them, but I've heard they're pretty good. So far there have only been two issues released, so now is the time to start reading them if you want to.

The other option is to just wait for the trade paperback, but that won't be released for a while.

Lot of Boba Fett in Star Wars #5. He talks a bit too much for my tastes in this issue, but it's not too big of a deal.

How? In TESB he's a neat side character. Doesn't do much, but that doesn't mean he's a "mistake".

He's talking too much, period. I feel one could substantially reduce his dialogue to brief, to-the-point statements of around five words or less, and still get the point across and stay true to his character.

Thankfully, the guy writing the Darth Vader series actually knows what he's doing. Can't find the interview but Kieron Gillen said that with Fett, what he does is write as little dialogue as possible, and then reduce that dialogue, instead making Fett speak through his actions.

I'm still very pleased that bloody Jony Ive has more influence (see: new lightsabre and new stormtrooper design) over Ep 7 than George Lucas does.

And Supreme Leader Snoke sounds like something out of Borderlands or Mad Max-and that may be telling as to the state of the galaxy post-collapse
