I think it works like this:
They have an extra button or option on their screens that takes them to where reports are sent.
They have to go there manually, no notifications.

We get this big ol' '1 Moderation report open' thing splash across the top of the screen. Below the forum page icon thing.

And they also tend to only get seen when a mod gets back from his breakfast >_>
Like just now. Then they get dealt with and then the mods answer the inevitable questions about why they did their job/didn't do their job.

It's really quite the best way to start the day.

Ehh kind of, the ban was listed because you were "reporting random shit with 'CUNT' and 'FAGGOT' as the reason". Which is kind of funny, but it does get tiresome when there is a pile of nonsense reports to go through which means that genuine ones take longer to be sorted.

but i'll stand firm that i didn't make any

i honestly thought everything i ever reported was worth reporting

now i just rarely bother
