Got pulled over by a cop tonight

Apparently I didn't have my headlights on. He asks me if I have been drinking or doing drugs. I haven't. He then asks if I have any drugs or weapons in the car. I don't. He then looks around my car with his flashlight and is curious what's in my trunk. I don't know what it is about me that gives off the impression that I've been doing drugs, other than the fact that I'm a very soft spoken person. Anyway, has this happened to anyone else?

Police officers usually are trained in such a way to have a suspicious nature about pretty much everyone. From that innocent old lady, a school girl, a guy driving his car to the most threatening badass in town. Just, don't let it get to you. It's their job to check up on things if they think there's a lead. (At least, in Greece it works that way)

My brother got pulled over for speeding while I was in the passenger seat. The cop asked me for my drivers licence and I didn't give it to him.

I was basically called a "Sovereign Citizen" because I wouldn't answer any of his questions (including my name and why I wouldn't provide him with anything).

He actually said something like "Well, I'm only asking you this so I know you're not a murderer or something. I mean...you're not, are you?" he chuckled.

I shook my head at him and told him "I don't answer questions."

It was very awkward for everyone.

Doesn't mean they don't still happen. There are a lot more police vehicles sitting and waiting on the side of the road toward the end of the month than there are at the beginning of it where I live.
