Good places for a first date?

Been out of the dating game for a while(I used to be very romantic believe it or not)

Planning out a date with this girl. Gonna make it legit, washing my car getting a haircut ect. Usually I just take a girl to a movie and then we fuck but this girl is different

Any ideas? Also trying to save money

I was thinking of getting ice cream and food and taking it to the university and having a little picnic or whatever but that seems more of a second date type thing TBH

Movies are a good shout, but straight afterwards either;

-Go to some place for dinner
-Sort out some picnic shit and enjoy the rest of the evening (Bonus: Is cheap)

From there, the movie acts as a conversational topic which keeps the flow going initially.

Movies are actually super shitty first dates if you're not looking to just hook up.

Like you're sitting in a dark room not looking at each other or talking...
