My parents ruined steak and pancakes for me.

Steak I was able to overcome because I realized you can order steaks other than medium well and still have them be edible. But I fucking hate pancakes now and forever.

They didn't ruin anything for me but at one point I had Quorn Spaghetti Bolognese and Quorn S&S Chicken and Quorn Tikka Masala for all of my meals (Ready meals)

I just can't even bear to eat them now ._.

It wasn't even money related, just time - Ready Meals for all the family and blammo ._.

My dad was a chef, so nothing was really ruined, but it DID make me appreciate his cooking when I went to a friend's place. My dad was a fucking wizard when it came to making the spices and sauces blend together well on top of his creations. Sadly, the only recipe he passed down to me was his steak sauce/seasoning recipes.
