What was the dumbest thing your bosses ask you to do?

Me: When I worked for GM I got a work order for a corvette. The complaint was vehicle roof shakes at 180km/h (111mp/h) it was a convertible. I went up to my boss and asked him what do you want me to do about it. he said road test it. I looked at him funny and refused to work on the vehicle. Our high speed limit is 100km/h (60mp/h) The provincial police won't stop you until your doing 130km/h (80).
