I kinda liked Revenge of Cooler and Bojack Unbound, y'know.

Those ones are pretty good. I like Return of Cooler more than Revenge of Cooler, though.

I still need to see the first 4 films I think.

fair enough. i value animation and style more than story and characters so i guess i just didnt really factor those in.

The Goku Vs Beerus fight was so good.

One of my problems with RoF is the placement of the F song

It starts to play during the fight at the end, but then the majority of it plays while the other characters are talking wtf

I think the Flow song does most of the work in the Beerus Vs Goku fight. Not only that, the definitive way to experience that arc is by watching the show, IMO.

Resurrection F has a lot of problems but it has absolutely excellent key animators that make up for it, IMO. They're pretty close in quality but I find Battle of Gods too slice of life-y.

Now that you remind me, Bardock, the Father of Goku, was a really good one albeit short.

although im against reusing the vocal tracks and UI theme so often i felt it fit better in this instance than the last episode. god fucking damnit otsuka really gave us a treat this week with the visuals. when goku dodged the kefla blast midair i almost shit myself

Goku's been in the god-tier since the end of the Goku Black arc if you ask me. Beerus isn't a great example of god-tier because he's much stronger than the majority of the other gods.

UI Goku is multiuniversal and a 4th dimensional power, and is much stronger than Kefla. That was shown in the last couple episodes from scaling Goku to Jiren. They also explained it pretty well why UI didnt end the fight sooner the second time it showed up. Him thinking before attacking really botched the potency.

I've honestly had no issues with the power scaling in the ToP. Goku was holding back for the majority of his fight against Kale and Caulifla, but he was pushed to God because the U6 Saiyans have far greater potential than U7. After they fused, SSB was necessary to swap hands with base Kefla, but then she turned Super Saiyan which multiplies her already universal+ power by 50 and manages to upstage SSB (this actually also confirms SSB is a x50 multiplier). Following this UI is unlocked again and is capable of bodying Kefla but Goku's thinking gets in the way. His body is dodging without thinking, but not attacking like it was against Jiren. Kefla then gets enraged and goes beyond SSJ2 (so basically x100+++ Base Kefla). Enrage boosts really fuck people over, as seen in Kai when Goham absorbed Buu freaks out over Vegito dicking on him, and starts ripping holes in the universe (which makes him capable of 4th dimensional power, and any amount of 4th dimensional power > infinite amount of 3rd dimensional power). Buu made the jump from Multi-solar system buster + to 4th dimensional because he was angry. Thats like quintillions of times the strength. So imagine what happens when Kefla, a saiyan who in base form, was AT LEAST low-tier multi universal, powers up x100+ that strength, and THEN gets so angry that she could vaporise an UI Goku if she hits him.

its outlandish thag the characters are this strong, but its not out of left field in comparison to the rest of the series. there have been far worse offences in the past
