I don't know as much as I could because I've only seen like 3 movies, and read some stuff/watched some videos, but is there a character more badass than Neville? This is an honest question, because from what I know he's the most badass.

they're generally regarded as some of the most faithful and well-done adaptations of any YA book series

As someone else said, Neville started out as the stereotypical pusillanimous loser kid that you feel bad for, but at the same time serves as comic relief because of how useless he is. He was always a good kid, but he only took a level in badass by the final film in the series, which...

Why in the holy mother of fuck would you begin to watch a series at the very end.
