Best way to help with a nose bleed?

My nose has been bleeding a lot lately, don't know why. I'm tired of doing the whole paper in nostril or tilting your head back thing.

Are there any other practical solution or am I going to have to continue shoving paper in my nostril?

Seriously though, as someone who suffered from a ton of nosebleeds when I was younger: get something cold and wet when you apply pressure. The cold will make it so that your veins automatically contract, which will help with the bleeding.

Next time I'll keep it in mind, it stopped for now atleast. I don't know why I'm getting them now. I never had a single nosebleed up until this year. So it's really odd for me.
