On another note, if you want some interesting history stuff Verb, Extra Credits has a series on it with stuff I never even knew/I thought would be interesting. It's not always accurate to a tee but the general idea of it all is. Plus the animations make it interesting, and it's not bogged down in super series music and a deep voiced narrator.If you want I could recommend you some

If you wanted something in Roman times, choose the Punic Wars. If you want one on Japan, Sengoku Jidai is pretty cool on the characters he dives into, but the one he apparently put the most work into is Justinian and Theodora, which is basically the Eastern Roman Empire, after the West had fallen.The hidden bonus I enjoyed was The Broad Street Pump. It's about John Snow (I know) and how one man more or less changed how cities were built. It's a shame they don't teach this more in schools.
