There is Metro and Big Blue Bus. Are there more type of buses?
Are tickets stage based (the further you go, the more expensive the ticket) or are they one price per trip?

Is a TAP card worth getting or is cash the way to go?
Can I pay for two people with one TAP card?

I looked around on Reddit and Google and a bunch of obscure forums but info is either outdated or confusing with people providing completely contradictory information.

Eh, if I lived in a city like SF I'd probably end up taking a bus, the metro, or just walking. Trying to find parking there is a nightmare and it would be better to just not even deal with that.
