My point is validated by your responses. You guys overreact whenever she's brought up. You act like she's the devil incarnate trying to end your lifestyle forever.

Her initial videos were about tropes in gaming. To be frank, she's partly correct. Females in games are trophies. There are only a few exceptions to this. That motivation in games is tired and worn out.

Since then Gamers and the online community have given her all the ammo she needs. Posting like you guys do IS sexist and demeaning. Now she has a crusade and her opposition is demonizing itself.

Try backing off and accepting that maybe she has a point and all of her ammo goes away.

Nobody is overreacting. People are having a discussion and if you don't read into it/read it with an extreme negative tone of voice it's a lot easier to read and respond legitimately.

It seemed like that Hitman footage portrayed us as wanting to hurt women, that we have no other option due to the way they dress ect ect. Where in fact I could just sneak past and listen to their really sad lives....why would anyone want to hurt them?

By acting the way she predicts, we give her the ammunition to use against us.

Games do have sexist tropes.

Gamers do act in a sexist manner.

Her points aren't without merit. Now, a few do go to extremes and give her points that she rallies large numbers against. Does everyone think she should be beaten? Of course not. But no one says anything about those who do say that.

You want to make her lose her power? Try saying that she's correct on some issues and then call out the extremists. Then she deals with rational people instead of a sexist mob. Now the masses tell her there isn't a problem and she goes away.
