It doesn't really matter what the topic is after a while, you get a feel for who's going to respond and why they're going to respond. The talking point issue can be circumvented in physical presence aka people hanging out and doing shit together but not neccessarily talking. With the shiternet being what it is, it'll always burn out like this. I've seen it happen on many smaller sites over time unless there was some bigger binding force at large.Plus nobody has done anything with their lives the past six years so nothing has entered the ecosystemWe're like a time capsule

I've never been comfortable with providing details about myself that would make it easier to dox, but eventually I realized that I don't see much of a point in really bringing up anything about myself unless it actually adds to a discussion in some way. While I don't see anybody using that stuff maliciously anyway, this forum has a weird way of turning events/issues in peoples lives into centerpiece discussions that never really die. Like Nuka said, there isn't a good history there and it's not surprising that that was the first of the last three pillars to die (the other two being megathreads and "sep7agon is dying/dead" threads).

You're not really missing much.I get most of my Halo talk in discords like Halopedia now
