I watched about 2/3 of the video.Sorry guys, but she does have a point. She's definitely correct in her claims, though I'm not so sure "casual violence towards women in video games" needs to be done away with completely. Just...toned down maybe. Remove the sexual implications towards women who aren't prostitutes, and maybe make it so that prostitutes aren't so common in what seems like every goddamn sandbox game. There's nothing corrupt in asking for that.
You are severely misinformed if you think this is the issue. This is a distraction attempt by them. They want to turn this whole thing from a corruption and nepotism revealing scandal into a "hur dur gamers are misogynistic and rascist" campaign and trying to play the victim card while simultaneously engaging in a "describe gamers in 4 words" campaign where they describe gamers (you) as "shit spewing neck beard" and "toilet in human form".There's also mounds of evidence engaging in blatant hypocrisy, but I'm not even going to engage in that discussion right now since I'm on a phone.
All I was saying is the video has a point.I understand both sides very easily so I'm not nearly as misinformed as you might think. No need to get so defensive about it.
That's not even defensive brah. Do you consider it defensive when a teacher informs you about a relevant subject? In typical Anita fashion though she completely removes all context from what she's talking about in order to contort said subjects into something that barely relates to what it originally was.As I said, this is a distraction attempt by her, her SJW buddies, shit tier gaming sites, and silversmith media. They want us to focus on this instead of their corruption and nepotism.SpoilerThey're doing a great job of bullying devs into signing their shit though by using their pull to paint anyone who doesn't as "hating women".
...again, you do realize I'm just commenting on the video, right? What "context" would make her points irrelevant?
I'm not denying that there are problems with the industry, I'd just rather support someone who seeks to make the industry better as an end goal instead of destroying it for their own monetary gain.
Virtual Men die by the thousands in games. Completely fine. A few dozen virtual Women die and everybody loses their minds. Get a fucking grip.
