So pretty much i'v been doing some thinking about how I may actually enjoy learning and enjoying my classes if I just started taking some courses online for my senior year. I don't really care for the whole "Prom" and social aspect of a regular school structure...and also the fact that some of the teachers have their heads up their asses *cough* English *cough*...I think a couple of people here take online courses and I would like to know you opinions on the idea of it.

Hmm...
If you aren't self-motivated, online classes will murder you. I took a database class online because I wanted to know SQL stronger than I do, but the first half of it was Access and I basically started half-assing my assignments so I could get back to fun things.

It just didn't feel important.

if you trust yourself to put forth the effort and do the work on your own time, yeah, online courses can work fine

the effectiveness of online courses varies on a case-by-case basis, of course. for example, im extraordinarily apathetic and lazy, so without the traditional classroom setting i'd never get anything done

Don't take them senior year. I'm caught in that rut right now. Any other year, it's fine because they can spill into the summer and graduation isn't an issue, but you'll be fucked if you don't get them done before graduation otherwise.
