It's kind of scary actually...I am reading a book that was released in October 2013 called Command Authority by Tom Clancy (his last book) He damn near predicted the future. In this novel Russia invades Crimea, and their is tension and fighting between pro-Russian separatists and Ukrainian nationalists in Ukraine. Also Russia's economy is plummeting in the book and in real life...

Yep. What a surprise. It's sort of funny how literally all of Russia's recent economic growth came from increased gas prices. Maybe those $200 billion dollars Putin pocketed himself could have been used to diversify the economy...
