The Latest: How delegate count shakes out after NH primary
Feb. 9, 2016 11:20 PM

ESTMANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — The Latest developments from the 2016 presidential campaign, with the focus Tuesday on the New Hampshire primary (all times local):

11:18 p.m.

Bernie Sanders will win at least 13 of the Democratic delegates in New Hampshire and Hillary Clinton will win at least nine. Two delegates haven't yet been allocated.

In the overall race for delegates, Clinton has 394, thanks in large part to endorsements from superdelegates — party officials who can support the candidate of their choice.
Sanders has 42 delegates.

It takes 2,382 delegates to win the Democratic nomination for president.

This wasn't some secret or surprise - she's had the support of these delegates since (at least) early fall - Bernie Sander's youth supporters just don't understand the concept and are only now in an outrage over it.

It's not like this is some new concept to the primary.

>.> it was never relevant to me so far, back in 2012 I knew I was voting for Obama regardless. (No way in heck I'd vote for R*Money after the stuff he pulled)

I can't say I'm a fan of such blatant establishment favoritism, though. Superdelegates only exist to help the establishment, anyway.

Just shows how uninformed Bernie voters are. Literally said this last night on Facebook and they had no idea what "super delegates" were. Morons.

It's a scare tactic to disenfranchise young voters. This looks worse than it actually is. In reality super delegates don't matter that much as they only make up about 10% of the total and even then these are pledged super delegates, not committed super delegates. If Sanders won the popular vote they wouldn't go against that and give it to Hillary as that would be political suicide for the Democrats.
