Look, I'm all for more economic and social freedom. But this sentiment of absolutely no semblance of government whatsoever, is well, retarded to put it lightly. Basic governance is essential for society to operate. I know this raises a lot of anarcho capitalist heckles here, but it's a fact.
Government has shown that it cannot stop the very things your comic depicted, no matter how much power they're given.  And to say that I want human trafficking just because I don't believe a single entity should have unlimited power over a piece of land would be like me saying that you want millions of people to get slaughtered because you want a government.  I can understand your wanting a semblance of order, but there are nonviolent, voluntary ways of accomplishing that that do not involve a state.

We always say to fight fire, you must use fire. This is wrong. Fighting fire with fire will leave scars and a new flame will rise. We must instead use water. It is the opposite of fire, it extinguishes the fire, it cools, it refreshes, it heals. We are made up of 70% water, we are not made up of 70% fire. Please practice what we truly are
Alright...

No right to work laws
Absurdly high state income tax
Rent control
NYC eminent domain regulations disproportionately favor developers over homeowners
Funding for worker's comp is severely restricted
Non-group coverage is nearly a nonexistent option due to state over regulation
Stop and Frisk
Tobbaco policy even more restrictive than Pennsylvania's own
"Motor Vehicle Law Enforcement Fee"

I didn't even touche firearm policy or California.
I don't see how people have less freedom due to these laws. They're bad things to be sure, but they don't restrict freedom.

The exception being Stop and Frisk. But seeing how Arizona has Nazi police that ask you for your paperwork, your argument is moot.
I've never had a problem like that with them or heard of that, maybe that is just close to the border? And perhaps if you have reasonable suspicion that they might be in this country illegally, they have a duty to investigate. After all.. Police are there to enforce laws and investigate.

I don't want people here illegally. The only exception I would make to house illegals is if there is a disgusting war plaguing their nation or genocide.. Otherwise, they need to put effort into fixing what is wrong with their nation, or stop waving their flag in America and start learning on what you must do to be a true, legit, American citizen.
They basically randomly stop Mexicans and ask them for paperwork.

Nazis
Tough shit, I'm sorry? Its common knowledge that most illegal immigrants come from the Southern border.. and more common knowledge that the vast majority are of hispanic descent. Now if they pull a car over and hear nothing but Spanish talk, or maybe poorly spoken English, that's enough to suspect something in my opinion. Yes, that isn't fair, but an investigation should still be made..
So we should "investigate" people for the way they look and talk even though they're doing absolutely nothing illegal? How would you like that? You wouldn't, but you don't care because you'll never have to experience that.

Quote
We don't want an uninsured illegal get in a car wreck, then sue and somehow win the law suit. <—Which that is much easier to pull off in guess what state? California ; P
Is that so? Proof?
The proof is what you hear among the common folk of the state and the states next to them. You won't hear that on the news, because they think they are better by covering stories that are far less important.
So racist shit people say. Cool beans.

Quote
You're right, I won't have that problem, why? Because I was born and raised here, I speak the NATIVE language perfectly (Even though my last name is a Foreign last name and very uncommon) and know the laws of the land, that I know suing someone else for my own stupidity would be wrong and is not justifiable.
Many Mexicans speak English ans Spanish. Why can't they speak Spanish? Is it illegal to speak Spanish? You're for taking away the freedom to speak whatever language you want to speak in America?

And English isn't the native language to America. At all.

Quote
IF I did have that problem, perhaps I would re-adjust my behavior to lessen the possibility of that to occur. I wouldn't have my windows rolled down, playing pure hispanic music as loud as I can at midnight in a neighborhood.
What? These people are stopped in broad day doing absolutely nothing to disturb the peace or breaking any laws.

And even if they were playing music too loud at midnight, the police have no other duty other than telling them to lower the volume. What the hell does it matter if it's hispanic music? If they played country music that'd be fine?

Quote
True my Grandfather was a low-life and came here illegally, but one of the few things he did do right was that he worked hard and earned his citizenship legally and legitimately.
Because Mexicans that cross the border illegally don't come to America and work hard and try to earn citizenship? Who in the fuck are you, the grandchild of an illegal immigrant, to say others shouldn't do what your grandfather did? Don't you see you're the proof that illegal immigrants aren't actually some sort of terrible problem the GOP makes them out to be?

Fucking hell. How can you hate people who are trying to lead better lives and love America as much as or possibly more than you do? Do you know how many Mexicans try to join the military and get turned away when they realize they don't have paperwork? Patriots denied the chance to give the ultimate thing back to their country because they love it so much: life.
You sound mad bro. Wake up dude, seriously.
"HURR DURR u mad bro I have no rebuttal because I know I'm wrong"

You wake the fuck up and stop hating your brother because he speaks a different language and has a different skin color.
Their skin color has nothing to do with it, never did I say anything about their skin. Its hard to NOT hate a serious problem.. Which is illegals that come in, expect everything and don't return anything, because that is all too common more now. Back in the early 1900's, illegals actually became legal citizens, just like my Grandfather did sometime after World War 2.

I don't need to wake up, I know and acknowledge the failure that is our Federal government.

Government has shown that it cannot stop the very things your comic depicted, no matter how much power they're given.
But an absence of basic governance has proven these things to flourish. You only have to look at Somalia, probably the most freest nation on the world, to attest to that.

There is a difference between wanting as much economic, political and social freedom as possible and still have a regulatory body, and being a proponent of a plutocratic/anocratic state which is what you seem to propose.

And to say that I want human trafficking just because I don't believe a single entity should have unlimited power over a piece of land would be like me saying that you want millions of people to get slaughtered because you want a government.
But I'm not wrong though. Without at least a semblance of regulation the possibility of a human trafficking market will open up. That is after all, what the free market does best.

I'm really beginning to notice these patterns of strawman amongst voluntaryists. "NO MADDA WHAD THE GUBMENT DUS DER WILL ALWAYS BE MUHDA AND RAYP." Yeah, no shit. I fail to see how that warrants abolition though.

As a society, Somalia has actually improved since dismantling its central government.

Regulatory bodies can exist without a centralized monopoly on violence.

There's already a human trafficking market, if you haven't noticed.  In fact, it's one of the fastest growing businesses among transnational criminal organizations.

If you're going to make the claim that Somalia is anarchy I'll play along with this response.

Somalia has never committed mass genocide.

Somalia has never nuked a city.

Somalia has never invaded a country thousands of miles away, overthrown its government, and tried to install a democratic government.

Somalia has never caused a coup.

You know why?  Because there's no money to be made from nuking a country.  There's no money to be made from overthrowing a government.  There's no money to be made from committing mass genocide.

Not as much of a pipe dream as small government.

As a society, Somalia has actually improved since dismantling its central government.
There was mixed results, actually. While it's true that the private sector flourished and certain conditions like travel and commerce improved under the free market (which I'm completely for, just to clarify) the result of anarchism obviously brought into fruition multiple warring factions and warlords which tore the country apart. Not to mention that Islamic Courts and various other religious institutions took a hold of the Education system.

The only reason Somalia is getting back on track is because the TFG has now been set up. This resonates with my argument of a small government and openly free market. It is possible for the two to coexist, shockingly enough.

And who would those regulatory bodies be, exactly? What's to stop these aforementioned bodies from becoming a monopoly themselves?

Really, all you're arguing for here is replacing a tax funded state with a corporate one.
Quote

I'm completely aware. I never repudiated that claim. My argument that you elected to ignore however was that eliminating laws and regulation on human trafficking would completely and utterly exacerbate the problem.

I've yet to hear your argument as to how anarcho capitalism would solve the issue of human trafficking.
Quote
If you're going to make the claim that Somalia is anarchy I'll play along with this response.
This isn't really a relevant response to my point. Anarchism has basically become a colloquial term for what Somalia underwent. But if you want to go down the pedant route I'll start using the correct terms if it makes you feel better.

Quote
Somalia has never committed mass genocide.
Umm...
Quote
Somalia has never nuked a city.
What does this have to do with Anarcho Capitalism or state control?
Quote
Somalia has never invaded a country thousands of miles away, overthrown its government, and tried to install a democratic government.
Well mostly because it's never had the resources nor desire to be democratic...
Quote
Somalia has never caused a coup.
I'm not sure if you're entirely aware of Somalia's history.
Quote
You know why?  Because there's no money to be made from nuking a country.
There is actually. Why do you think the market for developing weapons is so large?
Quote
There's no money to be made from overthrowing a government.
I'm sure someone would have a reason to, thus creating a market.
Quote
There's no money to be made from committing mass genocide.
Again, these are just repeated points. If someone has a desire to commit mass genocide, you have a market.

For someone that so highly reveres the free market you don't seem to understand how it operates that well.

Now with Obama preaching about voting being mandatory..

Wait.. voting is a right.. that means you have the choice to either use it or not use it..?

Maybe we should have mandatory gun ownership too then?

No wonder states (Not just Arizona) are thinking, "Bye Union!"
