Quote from: Verbatim on January 04, 2015, 08:36:47 PMYou're right, it is paranoid. I still don't like being fucking stalked. There's a difference between not caring about your privacy and wanting to be stalked. To say that the information could never be used against anyone is myopic. If someone's spying on you, they're typically not doing it for the fuck of it.Curious considering the thread in question was about you stalking someone else.

And who would that be?
Quote from: Verbatim on January 04, 2015, 08:49:34 PMAnd who would that be?Guess I just find it weird you were on the same persons profile page everytime I checked who was online. Yet when other people point this out suddenly that feature has to go....due to stalking. But meh. What do I know.

So it's stalking to keep tabs open on people with whom I've been conversing with over PMs? To see if they're online? This is what I'm fucking talking about, by the way. This is shit being used against me to incriminate me, somehow. You're like a fucking mosquito, kid.
Well, because I don't appreciate his insinuation that I was doing something else.

Which is obnoxious. If you have people in your buddy list, I think it's reasonable to let you "stalk" them. But only then. That was just Dustin being an idiot. No one else cared at all about what he was saying.Shut the fuck up, obviously something was going on if Verbatim is spending hours stalking Prime Meridia. Don't act like I'm the stalker because I took two seconds to view the online list out of curiosity/boredom. Second of all, Ryle was the one who first posted about it and I probably wouldn't have even noticed what Verbatim was doing if not for that. You've been supporting less conveniences for forum members for a while now, you should be thrilled to see one less thing we can do on the site.

If someone was to watch the online list they'd probably see me viewing comets profile every now and again due to the fact that we PM each other.
There were complaints of using the feature to stalk other users, and I really couldn't come up with a good reason for keeping it for regular users.
