Yeah. Got the PS5. Pretty nice. The speed makes all the difference.

Not positive on this, but I think speaking to Amanda in the Hangar is where you'll be able to progress further. Game doesn't tell you that though, apparently. So yeah, if you just have the base games and maybe the first 2 DLCs you'll need to go to Amanda to get through all of that. Then I guess everything afterwards is as it was.

imagine actually taking your time with the solstice armour and not just grinding it all out in 3 days like me
I've been taking my time a bit. But I want that MMXIX title. Need to get Zero Hour done. And the 3 raids. And the Solstice armor. Got some work ahead of me for sure.

So in Season of the Undying there are going to be "Vex Invasions" across the solar system which I hope means the Vex are going to be relevant to the story for the first time since vanilla D1.

Had you told me back in 2014 that the Cabal would be the most relevant alien faction and the Vex would do nothing for 5 years I would have thought you were joking but here we are.
Well the raid is in the Black Garden... And Vex invasions is probably Quria shenanigans. Which they've been teasing her and Savathun both since the base game.

Man I fell off this game awhile back. Just too busy to commit to it. I never made it past the end of Stormblood. I'm on the level 79 quests(I think) so I'm close to the end. Should be at least. Then I have all the patches to play through. I'm sure it will take a good while.

I really hope Shadowkeep advances the story in some way, this past year has been nothing but filler or teases for future content.

Also disappointed that Crown of Sorrow is yet another filler raid. D2's raids are fun for the most part but feel very inconsequential especially compared to the D1 raids.
It looks like we may get our first taste of The Darkness. Bungie was dropping strong hints about them all throughout the ViDoc. And in an interview Luke Smith said the burst of energy the Traveler let out at the end of D2 leads into this. Also in the ViDoc I saw 3 floating shadow figures. Towards the end.

On another note I've been reading some of the entries of The Chronicon I've picked up. I'm not sure whether I should believe what I'm reading or not.

I'm a bit confused on Zelda. So was Gannon's body there the whole time under the castle? Did he just give up his body to assume the Calamity Gannon form?

Imagine going so hard on the recycled content that you literally release the original tutorial as DLC
It’s not though. The Cosmosrome level is what new players will play with the free version that’s coming out. And the location in the actual expansion is the same location on the moon from Destiny 1 but they said it’s twice as big.

Forsaken is $40. Well worth it too I think. I could be wrong on this but I think they lifted the restrictions on it awhile back. You don't have to buy the previous 2 smaller ones to play Forsaken. I think.

I have it. Should be close to Chapter 3 now. It's amazing. I really wasn't expecting Rockstar to do some of the things they did. It's kinda niche.

Lmao, almost 12 hours and no one has beaten it yet. Longest time to complete any Destiny raid so far was VoG. 10 hours, 43 minutes. This has beaten it. If I’m correct on my info.

This lore is like Book of Sorrows Tier. Mara Sov may be the most important person in the Destiny universe.

Spoiler
so what? The whole story is that Savathun magicly turned Uldren into a retarded and ate him while you dick arround with some fallen?

Glad I didn't spend money on that
Spoiler
It wasn't Savathun. It was Riven. An Ahamkara. Just a manifestation of his voice. He is corrupted by Oryx. Taken, locked away in The Dreaming City

Did any of you guys read the leaked lore a week or two ago? Really cool stuff in there. Awoken backstory and stuff. Nice to see how they were created and all. That Drifter dude is shady as hell. His lines during Gambit already gave that impression, but after reading the lore... Yeah, he may not be so good...

How do you decide if it's appropriate to add? Take blood/gore for instance. In real life gunshot wounds are very messy. Bullets can tear limbs off and crack skulls open. Do we need that kind of detail in games because it stays true to how it would be in real life or should it just not exist in the game?
