Trent Reznor's relapse was the fault of him rekindling his relationship with Marilyn Manson, and in retaliation Reznor deleted the master files for much of Manson's early work.

Why are people using this as some thinly veiled excuse? You do realise there are plenty of people out there who tick all of XXXTesticle's criteria and don't do anything even remotely close to what he did?
wow it's almost as if people have different psyche's that force them to act different even in similar situations
and again i'm not excusing his behaviour

the reason she stole it was because of her depressionWinona Ryder was famous and rich yet she stole that jacket.lmao dude he was famous and richYou can make all these excuses for him - he was of sound mind,
it was because of some other mental illness though
people don't just beat up random people for no reason unless there's something wrong with them
« on: June 19, 2018, 01:21:39 PM »
You can make all these excuses for him - he was of sound mind,
i mean that's demonstrably not true
had tons more advantages than most people, and still did that bullshit.
- was black american
- from florida
- severe mental illness
- no father, incapable mother (she was sick afaik)
and everything except the gay thing are all allegations, which again if you go back to the lena dunham thread you'll see you actually agree with me

Lena Dunham never abused her sister lmao, they were both CHILDREN, and were both experimenting sexually.
She definitely abused her little sister. No doubt about that.
And X was a kid when he did all this shit, too. He's STILL was a fucking kid when they shot him. A dumb, emotionally unstable and troubled kid. Easy to look down on someone's actions when you've literally every advantage in comparison.
And nah, I never even heard of this dude until today. I don't care about his music, I care about the picture ember posted, and that no one disputed any of those things that happened.
I'm not talking about you, or anyone else on this site. I'm talking generally about all the shit he's getting on Twitter.
I'll dance on a monster's grave any day, when Hitler died people were morally justified to celebrate and this is no different.
Hitler didn't regret what he did, and he was a sound-minded adult.
X was a kid and knew he was a piece of shit, was trying to make changes in his life. he had every disadvantage and illness against him. that doesn't absolve him, but it should inform you to have a bit more nuanced a reaction than celebration.

yes you are
i'm still not defending him you stupid sack of shit
i'm saying that celebrating is a gross reaction to the death of a severly troubled 20 year old kid
especially since most of these people hate him for the kind of music he produced and then tack on the "he's a bad person" thing after the fact to look like they're something more than fuckheads themselves
you can understand, acknowledge and codemn someone for doing fucked up shit and still not dance on their grave
you let that fucked up comedian who abused her sister off the hook for similar reasons

the fact youre defending this (thankfully dead) monster AT ALL proves you have no values and should probably die tooReally fucked up some of yall out there celebrating the death of a 20 year old kid, as if you never did stupid shit when you were young. Mad respect for the guy's artistry, he was super fucking raw and his music was hugely reflective of today's youth.
i'm not defending him
This fucking meme worse every time.
Just like your English.

i dont care so much if you make a joke or feel indifferent, but on twitter right now there's a large portion of rap fans who are straight up celebrating his death simply because his music was meme'd and looked down upon like it was the quintessential example of the problem with modern rap.

Wow, the stereotype is true with you, jews really really really care about money huh?
« on: June 18, 2018, 10:59:12 PM »
i was never really celebrating his death, more like i just dont have much sympathy
that's more or less what i'm asking for, really
i'm not trying to defend him (i only speak for myself i don't necessarily share the opinion of my """teammates""" in this thread) but i think being happy that he's dead is a really gross reaction to have.

Nobody will remember who he was in 3 weeks... 2 weeks tops.Nah, just like everybody knows you're a pathetic fatass, everyone will know X for years
I think Jono is speaking from experience. That's how long it took for him to forget what a regular sized t-shirt looks like.

that's an explanation, not an excuse. a lot like those psychology articles that are like "germans during ww2/soldiers during the my lai massacre/soldiers during any war crime were just following orders"Really fucked up some of yall out there celebrating the death of a 20 year old kid, as if you never did stupid shit when you were young. Mad respect for the guy's artistry, he was super fucking raw and his music was hugely reflective of today's youth.
i'm not trying to excuse him. i'm trying to contextualise the things he did in a way that would enrich your understanding of the situation, and maybe prompt you to have a more nuanced response to his death. this black-and-white worldview you have is pure nonsense.
just because he came from an underprivileged background doesnt make him a brainless robot that cant decide, "hmm, maybe i SHOULDN'T torture and rape my girlfriends (who, if he had known them for a while, probably came from the same sort of background as him)" among other things
it doesn't make him brainless, no. but you're assuming he has your level (and type) of intelligence. my brother is a very smart kid, but he's not introspective, so he doesn't realise why he's getting mad and how it's altering his actions. same could be said for X.
plenty of people from his background who wouldnt do that shit. there's a difference between doing drugs and stealing because underprivilige, and asking your girlfriend what kinda fork she'd like shoved up her vagina.
and plenty of people from his background do the exact same shit he did. it's almost like different people have different brains that work differently. who knew.

Really fucked up some of yall out there celebrating the death of a 20 year old kid, as if you never did stupid shit when you were young. Mad respect for the guy's artistry, he was super fucking raw and his music was hugely reflective of today's youth.
he was a product of the environment he grew up in. comparing the average teenager to people who grow up in that situation is a pretty ridiculous thing to do. not everyone has your priveleged life.
and yeah, some normal people do fucked up shit all the time. my little brother used to threaten me with a carving knife, but you'd never know that looking at him now. he was lashing out because he didn't have control over a situation and had no idea what to do to regain it.

In MGS3, you can watch a vulture attack a soldier and leave him be. Later, you'll find that vulture. If you kill and eat it, further down the story during the Sorrow boss fight, when you're confronted with the spirits of all the soldiers you've killed thus far, you'll see that vulture you ate and the man he was attacking. The soldier will yell, hauntingly, "You ate me! You ate me!"
I lost my voice from screaming on discord while watching the Smash reveal. I'm super glad we have literally everyone from every Smash game, and the game itself looks faster than Smash 4 which is a really great thing. I don't really care for Ridley or anything but I guess if people really wanted it it's cool to be here. I'm hoping Snake's alternate costumes are his other outfits from MGS/MGS3/MGS4/MGSV, but that might be asking too much.
