You guys need to learn that Islam has as many factions as Christianity. Wahabists aren't representative of Islam any more than Catholics are in Christianity. If there was a button that killed all wahabists, it should be pushed.
Wahabists want to cause a war between "The West" and Islam. They want all Westerners to turn on Muslims. Without them you find a bunch of people who really do just want to live their lives.
The vast majority of Sunni muslims outside of the Pacific islands, and thus the majority of muslims in contact with westerners, are sympathetic to Wahabbism or hold Wahabbist ideas. You can thank the Saudis for that.
And part of the reason Wahabbism is so concerning is that it is promoting ideas already present in Islam, and actually getting Muslims to adhere to long-suppressed Islamic values. Salafists are good Muslims and that's the problem- good Muslims make the world a worse place.
You can't deny that nearly every religion has a core of intolerance.
Now, don't get me started on the House of Saud. Those evil fuckers need to go.
Lastly, I would say the hardcore adherents of any religion are the bane of the world.

An institution choosing not to host an individual, or individual students choosing not to attend a talk or even to protest it, is not comparable to a few hundred Antifa and black bloc radicals rioting.
It's not unreasonable to say that platforms being blocked by coercion and violence, governmental or not, is a violation of free speech.
