you know, whenever you go into a situation expecting the worst possible outcome and coming out of it feeling surprisingly positive? i just had one of those...
so i just went to check my grade for a research paper that i wrote for my online class a couple weeks ago. i procrastinated that paper so hard that i was forced to pull an all-nighter to get it done the morning before it had to be turned in. due to those circumstances, i really wasn't expecting anything better than a high C, but i somehow ended up scoring a 93/100. guess you could say i'm feeling very relieved right now
what are some of your experiences with this? it doesn't have to be school-related

thank you to everyone who is glad for my well-being. i feel like i'm finally able to mentally move past this event and learn from it.
seeing a tragic event like this close up really puts my life into perspective. i've always been under the premise that life is precious, and everyone deserves their right to live, but there will always be people who will feel the need to take that right from the innocent at any given time. we always have to remember to be aware of our surroundings and that no public place is ever 100% safe. i sincerely hope none of you have to go through what i did last night.
