This reminds me
What's up with Korean food I was on a Korean street food binge for a while and their food is always drenched in sauce (like five different sauces too), full of sugar, and ketchup is always involved somehow

Come now Verb, the only thing this site has left anymore is toxic antagonism and Ingy is far from the worst offender.
i'm talking about people flinging nothing but shit for absolutely no reason, which doesn't really take place here anymore
except from him, pretty much—i'll dunk on chronic's head-ass politics, mordo's bad star wars opinions, and flee's/cheat's general stupidity, but that's mostly the same old banter as far as i'm concerned
and the same goes for the spats you've been having with people over recent events in Serious—because at least you're having a real conversation about something, so whatever tepid shit-flinging takes place isn't exactly coming from nowhere
inglorious is the only person who goes out of his way to be an asshole for the sake of it anymore
Only to you really

So there are protests going on all over the country right now. I won't comment on the protests but people are gathering in large crowds at very close proximity and shouting, releasing particulates into the air. I'd be concerned about COVID spikes in these areas. Organizers of these events should really be encouraging wearing masks

Seeing as that is not for the foreseeable future, when do you suggest we reopen? When we have sustainable control of the virus via social distancing.
I won't argue there but ignoring the rich and looking at the poor or hell even middle class, they are part of the economy too. Whether you think they're slaves to wages or whatever, their survival is tied to the economy as of right now so what do you think we should do about that?
Continue social distancing and until deaths and infection rates are controllable. What about this is so convoluted.
So what exactly is your problem with the current process of reopening? Ventilator demand has been met, hospitals have not been overwhelmed, and testing is acceptable in the US right now Of course there are going to be more cases when we reopen but we have the capacity to deal with it

The point where we develop a a vaccine, if and when it's possible Seeing as that is not for the foreseeable future, when do you suggest we reopen? Where the opulent rich get richer and those at the bottom get the shaft, as it has always been since the inception of capitalism.

Don't forget that a large number of those US numbers are from NYC where they have incredibly strict lock down measures.
I mean, nyc would have been like, 4x worse if cuomo hadn't told all the poors to stay home
If you take NY out of the equation, the rest of America is doing well Even in NY medical capacity wasn't overwhelmed

What is it you study, again?
english and compsci
Since when were you doing compsci
same moment i realized that i needed a minor to get my degree
went for compsci because i already had a few credits in it from that time i switched
How do you like it
i think it's assfuck bullshit that i needed to take so many math courses just to qualify for the most basic compsci, but once i managed, it was okay i guess, but i still have a lot of resentment towards the system for putting me through the wringer
Me too It's my third year and only now am I finally getting to classes that seem pertinent to my major And I'm still taking shit like African Culture when I'm in Engineering

note the disparity in my response vs. everyone else's responses
as it turns out, so long as you put yourself in a simplistic enough frame of mind, you can enjoy literally anything
Imagine having such a sad life you have to prove your superiority even on anime
pretty sure i didn't prove my superiority
pretty sure you did lmao
Whatever fills your attention quota Verby
