Deadpool did teaser of a teaser. It is now the highest grossing R rated film.

So?
That's because of the movie being good
Not because of dumb marketing designed to milk every last bit of hype from the audience

Getting mad over general problems is normal. It means your emotionally well rounded.

Is being mad a good thing??

I don't see how having rage at more things would benefit you in any way

Which is why I made this thread. Where others have a justified reaction, I simply weigh the outcome and act accordingly. I know that I used to have strong emotional reactions. Now there's just a void. It's felt when others expect you to react one way, and you don't react at all.

Example, ex-Mrs Charlie just dumped the kids on me for 12 days for a last minute trip. Al Baghdadi expected me to be pissed and pick a fight. Instead I didn't react emotionally and reorganized the calendar in a way that benefited me. She was correct. I should have reacted with anger. I didn't even have the capacity for it.

I don't get mad at things other people would normally be mad at

I mean do you want to be angry more often or something?

Unless you're suffering from apathy toward everything or a lack of emotion not just anger, this really isn't a problem

Also you moan on and on about not being able to find true love but you refuse this girl based on looks?

You have the mentality of a white valley girl

Getting mad when the people you love are in danger is perfectly normal
You wouldn't need to be mad for much more than that

And as for treating your ex wife too coldly, she cheated on you
That doesn't warrant a warm welcome lol

Great movie. You'll grow up eventually

Are saying that from a religious standpoint or a filmmaking standpoint?

both

From a religious standpoint, the student did offer some pretty interesting arguments

But they made the professor a total dumbass
His responses to the arguements were just scoffing and saying it can't be

I was looking forward to some actual God vs atheist debating but instead it was just the professor bullying the student

Furthermore, all the characters are terrible
You could clearly tell who was meant to be a Christian and who was meant to be an atheist
The Christians were patient kind people while the atheists were rude and bigoted

Every character was so one dimensional and completely forgettable
Not to mention their character motivations make no sense

The wife breaks up with the professor after one conversation with the pastor
The girlfriend who loves our protagonist so much just breaks up with him because of philosophy clas
The reporter's boyfriend just walks out when he hears she has cancer

And way to make them the most stereotypical characters ever

The Asian with the strict business man dad?
The super traditional religious Muslim father?
The bitter Christian man who goes atheist after a tragedy?

Come on

Every situation is so contrived and completely just bends to the will of the plot

Why the fuck did that Muslim chick's brother just randomly bust in and steal her iPod?
The professor invites all his friends over and they all start bullying his wife
Like wtf

Every subplot was soooooo bad and forgettable

What role did the Asian guy play?
He literally did nothing the whole movie
Why did they even include the grandma?
Was it so that they'll have a powerful moment where the meek character delivers a profound speech?

It was just such a bad movie

Literally all that stuff happens in real life though. Sure, it may not have been as entertaining as possible, but it's Real.

No it's not

That professor would be fired if he made the students write God is Dead down

Who the fuck breaks up with someone for wanting to debate with his teacher?

Who the fuck would break up with someone because they have cancer?

The movie portrayed all atheists as bullies while the Christians were saints who can do no wrong

Mad Max wasteland is more barren and you're more likely to die from lack of survival skills

Fallout wasteland is literally filled with things mutated to kill you

You forgot the part where instead of getting the professor help after they hit him with a car they instead try to convert him while he's laying there dying in the street.

>movie literally kills off the mean atheist professor via hit and run

And then later they take the dead dude's cell phone and the black dude is all like "what happened here tonight was a good thing"

Climax:

Kind respectable Christian student: And that's why God exists
Mean bully professor: [scoff]
Student: Why do you hate God?
Professor: [stammers]
Student: WHY DO YOU HATE GOD?! TELL US WHY??!!!
Professor: BECAUSE HE TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME
Student: [profoundly] How can you hate something that doesn't exist?

[Turns to class]

Is God dead?

[Poorly developed Asian character stands]

God's not dead!

[Whole class follows suit]

[In unison]

GOD'S NOT DEAD

[Professor storms out in rage]

[Close up of student's victorious face as music swells]

The first one was garbage. A friend of mine said she enjoyed the second one but I'm not sure if I should trust her judgment.

It's directed by the same person and probably is backed by the same insane Christians so I wouldn't go see it
