The Flood / Re: Take this« on: October 10, 2020, 01:14:44 PM »the trick when it comes to these quizzes is to understand the question behind the question—like, if there's one that says something like, "i've always been into things like basketball and baseball," and you put "strongly disagree" because you're only interested in football and soccer, you're kinda missing the point—because what it's really trying to ask you is if you enjoy games that involve working with teams and physical activitywasnt totally sure on some of the questions, since how I think I am and how others see I am are differentAlso I think one way but usually end up doing the opposite In the same vein, another problem is whether the test is suppose to measure your natural state or skills you built up over life For example, I am naturally very unempathetic and that's how I answered the questions. But I've learned that it's easier to interact with people if you appear to be interested in their personal lives. In that way, I always ask people I work with how their day is and what's going on in their lives. So I guess in my actions I'm pretty good in kindness and empathy. But really, I feel like I'm a very cold person naturally So I think the test needs to define its questions better but then again a test like this can't really encompass the wide range of human emotion 484

I guess it's a good idea in theory
Only the people who watch state TV need to pay for it but even then, not everyone with a TV will watch state TV and it sounds like a logistical nightmare to implement a license and inspection program instead of just paying for it through tax Nevermind it's a dogshit idea in theory 490

How do they determine what's a TV or not
Wouldn't an inspector look at that and say that's a TV Also TV inspector is an actual job? 491

If you’re happy working a “low skill” job then more power to you.For people who seem to be in some sort of dead-end. Are you okay? Need any help? Exactly Colleges are full of unmotivated people who are only there because their parents told them to be. It's not only for the money but the status of being "educated". It's really valuable to people like my mom but it's not really for me 497

It's fine
It's a small town where nothing really happens Everywhere is a 45 minute drive which I don't really mind but it's not really ideal for my mom Ideally I'd want to live in the middle of nowhere with all the convenience of city life so I don't think I'd ever find anywhere perfect but I'd rather be in the city than rural areas 502
