Who was the one here who thought there was nothing wrong with Mass Effect and it was the best series ever?

I know someone said it.
Midget is the resident Mass Effect sycophant, yeah.
Blind fanboys are a cancer in any form of media

narrow minded people who refuse to think the things they love might just be slightly flawed

Oh yeah, don't forget - Activate the Crucible, bye-bye Halo. ME wins.
Bioware pre ME3: "We want this to be a war. We don't want a "destroy one and they all go" or something like that"

> Crucible

ME, easily. I don't know why this is even up for debate. With all ME races included the UNSC and Covies would be horribly overwhelmed.
Tell that to the Aztec when the Spanish rolled over them.

Better tech = a significant advantage

Tell that to Germany when Russia drowned them in hordes of men.

Quantity beats quality, every time.
Germany was also fighting a war on two fronts, so yeah.

The massive ships and men the Covvie and Humans have would easily win I would wager.

Pulse lasers fam
Elaborate pls
Pulse lasers ignore ME ship shields, no?
I honestly don't know. I'm not all into the precise tech of the ships of Halo, nor do I read the books. I just know the ships are monstrosities that have 400 years of tech over the Mass Effect ones., ESPECIALLY the covenant.

Both are ruined by shit developers by even more greedy publishers. Who cares. But if we must

Halo has a good 400 years on Mass Effect, so... I mean, not a fair fight. Maybe Halo vs Star Wars.

You'll ban guns
No we won't

Quote
Because people can't just create their own blades/shivs and go on a killing spree.
Even if that was the case, knife sprees almost always result in less deaths, and they can be easier to detain. Just look at the history of them the past few years. In China 40 something people got injured, but none died. People will die, but guns offer a far easier way to do it. There is no arguing that.

Quote
Worst part is that if it happens, how're people gonna defend themselves?
*Looks at gun shootings*

Yeah, you're phrasing it like nothing is already happening and that if we do it, we'll somehow be in a worse place than we are now.

Look at me, Sep7agon. I've turned into you.

I'm aware it's not an OST, but it was in the end of AC4 and it was very touching. This guy does an amazing job.

i wish i watched a single episode of his show
There is a reason to now, don't you think?
i have a bad case of archive panic

but yeah, the guy seems brilliant
Ah that

eh, unless it's some story, I wouldn't freak about it, since it's current events. Plus he just started.

I enjoy always seeing that one guy grasping at straws and bringing up the same points that already have proven to be "meh" at best.

Trussing is the septagon embodiment of the Republicans in office cucked by the NRA. I at least hope you agree SOMETHING needs to be done.

Build times in general seem stupid.
At least the FOB ones are done even when you're offline. The other crap that takes hours for SP is stuff you have to be in game for, which I think is so stupid.

TFW FOB building.

Couldn't be more accurate. I'm just grinding now and asking if it's even worth playing anymore. I did everything basically except the extreme/Subsistence stuff.

Right

Crosshairs and sprint are something damaging to an an RPG with FPS mechanics? Seriously? There is a reason the 2nd top mod (first exclusing the mod manager) for New Vegas is Project Nevada which adds just that. Bethesda is honestly listening to the community on that. Not much of an argument.

Skills was always basic in Fallout games, and I mean as basic as an RPG can get. It's not innovative at all, and while I was at first concerned it's gone, I welcome something new to try.

As for weapon degradation and repair, well idk why you made two points there, because they go hand in hand. I don't know if it's there, but would like it to be. If not I'm sure there will be mods for it.

New Vegas is also "Oblivion with guns" considering it's running on the same exact engine and gameplay with the only thing improving the god awful shooting being an ADS which, for console players, was still shit.

I also like how we're judging it when we haven't even played it yet.

Why don't you actually give it a shot and form your own "intelligent" opinion before falling to the masses online who suddenly think because they played Fallout 1 and 2, AFTER they were introduced to the series with 3/NV, that they know what's better and what isn't.
Anyone with eyes can see that Fallout 4 is going to be the most casualized game in the series to date and that it's not an RPG.
Right

that entire 10 min gameplay we see personifies the entire series. Gotcha.

I thought hardcore mode for New Vegas was broken and annoying to begin with. It probably doesn't help that it isn't the best combat.

9748
God, I forgot how much the AI sucked if you formed a defensive line (I usually have archers, slingers and catapults behind a defensive line of Spears with swords and axes covering the flanks).  They usually just throw themselves at you and end up routing like the fucking plebs that they are.

Then I'll just have my mounted cavalry mop up the rest :)
AI was never amazing when you're defending/sieging . On the field they're not as bad, but obviously won't do as well as real people.

It makes me long for the combat of Medieval 2,  where the AI actually changed tactics according to how you play.

...and it makes me fear for medieval 3 of they continue using their current engine.
They're using this engine for Warhammer I believe.
