Steam essentially has the same thing (always-on DRM) unless you jump through hoops for offline mode. No reselling physical copies of games. I don't believe in double standards.
It's not a double standard because Steam is only non physical copies anyway. Microsoft was trying to make their new console a thing so you couldn't even give a DISK to a friend, which is retarded. It's why Sony made that video of them just showing them handing it to another.

It's not a double standard because Steam didn't start out as a console. MS was with the 360 and original xbox.

It's odd I can find written stories far more compelling than just a porn video.

But they ultimately didn't. It wasn't any worse than Steam DRM, either.
They ultimately didn't because the fans literally cried out "FUCK YOU" when they tried to pull it. It's the fact they TRIED that matters. They tried to pass off something hoping they could, and tested the waters to see how much fans would take.

The game industry sadly tries something like this every few years or so. Steam just tried it too with paid mods until they also said screw you.

Basically, it's not whether they did or did it. It's that they tried it in the first place. It's the principle.

I know it's a mod, but like, Fallout 3 has this UGLY green filter for god knows whatever freaking reason (and NV with an orange one. Needless to say, it makes the sun non existent too...). So if you don't want it to look worse than it already is, I'd highly recommend that.
I assumed it was to make the landscape seem more, uh, irradiated? I dunno. It doesn't bother me, really. Thanks, though.

I'm playing on PS3 anyway.
Ah okay. Well, have fun.

I love how you guys are just going back to Destiny again and again or getting it for one sub par FPS that's a shadow of its former self.

I can never buy a damn console from them after they tried to fuck everyone over with that DRM of theirs.

I'll say something.

Verb, ignore what anyone tells you to do, even if it's the "best" thing to do. The point of this should be to enjoy it as you see fit and play it organically. You're following a marker for a quest and happen upon a building in the distance or a cave? Go and explore it, or ignore it.

Point is, play it how you want to play it, not how we tell you to. Whatever makes you happy or increases your enjoyment. And also yeah, ignore the "THIS QUEST IS GREAT/IT SUCKS" because like you said earlier, it only sets you up for expectations, good or bad.

I personally think New Vegas is better for many reasons (the world is boring as heck though), but since FO4 is right around the corner, it's only right you do this one. But if you're playing on PC, can I recommend something? As in, just something that won't make your eyes hurt.

better fix that
No need.

No point.
A lot of things in life have no point, but like, wasted time you enjoy isn't wasted time
I guess, but I can also read my book.
Or both

But yes, smart things are fun.

It's just a reminder that you should live a life you love and not one you loathe. You don't ever want to die with horrible regrets.

9237
why care?
Because this is a growing trend among academia and students. I don't care so much that I was personally accused of racism, I care that such accusations can be thrown around on a limb by individuals who really should know better.

And? Higher ed has ALWAYS done this. Just write the papers to get the grade and tell all the University Warriors to pound sand.

True story: when I was a senior at UCSD, one of the barefoot PETA wannabes took issue with my leather jacket. His dumb ass came running up with a bucket of red paint. I reared up to punch him, and he backed off and started calling me a fascist.

Do you know what happened from this? Nothing. Not one thing.

I'm pretty liberal, that's well known. There are some causes I support, some I couldn't care less about. But those little bastards are just wannabes that only have what power you give them. Tell them to fuck themselves and all they can do is call you names. That's it.

Do you care when I say that every time I create a thread your aggressively gay uncle rapes your face? I hope not. So why care when one of these milktoasts call you racist?
