Gaming / Re: Have a game crash on you after/during VITAL moments?
« on: October 17, 2015, 01:48:09 AM »
When I was 10, I had NFS: Most Wanted and I was addicted to that game. I had finally made it to the very final boss race and once I won, the game froze and my progress was lost. This happened multiple times and not just once. I never really beat the whole game until a few days later when my game worked properly.
I don't think I'd have that patience.

Because it just happened to me with FIFA 16. Beat Chelsea in a penalty shootout by the goal keeper doing a heroic dive. I then run towards the bench to celebr- nope

game crashes

Also, hunting rifle = ezpz.

Seriously, that gun is just OP as heck, but in a good way when you're in a tight spot (super mutants).

I'd recommend not doing any of them until you're at least level 16.

Yeah good point. I hope Fallout 4 has flinching but I don't think so.

Anything that was like Final Fantasy 1-6

Legend of Zelda

Two opposites if you ask me. Zelda had story but nothing heavy, but the gameplay and puzzle solving/fighting was fun. FF on the other hand is heavily story influenced, so yeah

open world 2d RPG/puzzleish?

Deathclaw is more than accurate lol

They look terrifying in FO4.

Out of the vault.

Now to begin aimlessly wandering, looking for some shit to do!...
It easily guides you early on, and then you can go from there.

YEAH... The gunplay is pretty awful... I end up just using the baseball bat.
If it's honestly game breaking for you, I'd recommend NV. It's more in line with the original Fallouts. If not, then keep going.

I never had a problem with F3's gunplay

Why is it so terrible?
Because you need to rely on VATS, and it gets old really really quick. I mean you CAN go without it but only be accurate if they're super close. There is no long range precision unless you're sniping.

Oh dear... V.A.T.S.

I really don't like this system. I can survive without it, right?...
On PC yes

On console, well.... The aiming mechanics are horrible. New Vegas added ADS and it helped a LITTLE, but even then PC needed the mod Project Horizons to make it more competent and actually use it without relying on VATS.

Bethesda thankfully saw how popular it was and implemented some elements into it for Fallout 4.

I wish people played it on PC like real peeps so I wouldn't be so alone.
Maybe you should stop being a nerd for once and get a console.
I have a PS4.
